Who Can Enter Gold Horse Casino

An evening out is often a party of several, and not every guest has the same access at Gold Horse Casino. The place cards below show where each guest can go, from the floor and the box office to the RV lot.

01

Nineteen at the door

In Saskatchewan, gambling is legal from age 19. Under The Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act, 1997, anyone younger than 19 counts as a minor. SIGA casinos treat any person under 19 as a prohibited individual who cannot collect winnings.

Gold Horse Casino stands at 3910 41st Street, on the Saskatchewan side of Lloydminster. That means 19 applies to every guest in your party, wherever they live. A guest visiting from out of province follows the same rule as a local. If your party includes someone under 19, plan the gaming part of the evening without them.

  • The floor and the tables: 19 and older; a younger guest counts as a prohibited individual.
  • Every event: 19 and older.
  • A night in an RV on the lot: every guest 19 and older.
  • Dinner with a guest under 19: no published rule; call 306-825-3777.

If one guest in your party is under 19, call the casino at 306-825-3777 before you book the evening, not at the door. A short call settles dinner and the show before anyone sets out.

02

Show nights, 19 and over

All events at the casino are 19+, which means every ticket holder in the group must be at least 19. Guest Services houses the box office, with hours of 10 AM to midnight, 7 days a week, and SIGA's online box office also sells tickets. Sales are final: no refunds and no exchanges. Check the age of each person before buying. Accessible seating is available, and the casino's entertainment page lists the shows currently on offer.

03

The RV and every guest in it

Spending the night in an RV on the casino lot comes with a separate age rule. Every person sleeping in the vehicle, passengers included, has to be 19 or older. Management may request ID from all guests in the RV, so each one should have it on hand. A group travelling with someone younger will need to arrange the night somewhere else.

04

Questions for the phone

Some details are not published by the casino. These include which ID it asks for at the door, any age rule for the restaurants and a dress code. If you plan to bring someone under 19 to dinner at the Sports Bar & Grill or the Deli & Bar, call 306-825-3777 first. The same number covers holiday hours, a shuttle or a taxi stand. Ask before the evening is booked, so the answer shapes the plan.

05

Self-exclusion is personal

Self-exclusion belongs to one person, never to the whole table. SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion, asked for at any SIGA casino, keeps that guest out of all nine casinos in Saskatchewan for 6 months up to 5 years. A banned or self-excluded guest cannot collect winnings either. Game Break, from SaskGaming, is a separate confidential program that reaches PlayNow.com as well; after it starts, nobody can shorten or lift it.

Q

Asked at the desk

Can a guest under 19 come with us onto the floor?
Not for any gambling. Saskatchewan sets its legal gambling age at 19, and SIGA casinos treat anyone younger than 19 as a prohibited individual who cannot receive winnings. For anything beyond that, call 306-825-3777 before the evening.
Can we bring a younger guest to dinner?
The casino does not publish an age rule for its restaurants. Call 306-825-3777 before you book the evening.
Does a show ticket need a guest aged 19 or over?
Yes, all events at the casino are 19+. All sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges, so check ages before buying.
Does self-exclusion cover the whole party?
It covers only the person who asked for it, not the guests with them. For between 6 months and 5 years, SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion keeps that person out of all nine Saskatchewan casinos. Anyone 19 or older in your party is unaffected.
